Presentation

Polyurethane cloths having a significant elongation property, so they must be reinforced with steel cables to ensure that the opening of the mesh is maintained but also good mechanical resistance to tension, whether they are mounted in lateral tension (perpendicular to the conveying direction of the products), or longitudinal tension (parallel to the conveying direction of the products).

To be tensioned, these cloths are made with tension hooks. These are steel sheets bent at an angle adapted to the different screens. The hooks are attached to the synthetic screen surface by a bolting system attached to cables or wire steel moulded into the material.

To use a cloth, this must be properly tensioned. Also, it must follow a curve defined by the screen manufacturers. The thicker the cloth, the more pronounced the curve to obtain good support. To ensure better positioning of the cloth on the frame, solid areas are provided on the cloth at each transverse support.

GIRON has a wide range of meshes (W) to match the needs of its customers.

Standard range : (for any another dimension, please contact us)

  • Square meshes :                    3 mm ≤ W ≤ 150 mm
  • Rectangular meshes :       4 x 10 mm ≤ W ≤ 27.5 x 61 mm
  • Injected cracks :               0.2 x 11 mm ≤ W ≤ 1.5 x 11 mm
  • Meshing:                               in a row or staggered

Synthetic cloths may be manufactured in a self-supporting version on mechanically welded chassis to be bolted or clamped to a frame.
