Giron celebrated its 100th anniversary in style
This year, June was a time of festivities for 100 years of Giron. Our centenary was an opportunity to unveil a work of art made from screenings: four sculptures representative four generations. This festival also gave us the opportunity to back to our history and to recognize all those who have made our company the jewel it is today. We would like to thank all our employees for their work, their daily commitment and their presence and participation on this memorable day.
Giron: ever more international expansion
Continued expansion in Romania
We've been producing polyurethane products in Romania for 1 year now. Indeed, the Giron group now boastsa century-old structure in France and two companies in Romania. The first, which has been present in the region for 20 years, manufactures and markets steel solutions, while the other, which is just starting out, manufactures polyurethane screening equipment. This multi-faceted offering enables us to meet the different needs of our customers in Eastern Europe. In fact, these two companies now offer them a complete range for all our technical solutions.
A new member of staff to support our expansion in Spain
Alexandre joined the Giron team last May. He is fulfilling his 2-year commitment as a international corporate volunteer (V.I.E). This civic service, which he performs at Madridwill enable us to expand our customer portfolio in the Spanish market. This arrangement offers him the opportunity to gain solid experience and excellent training, while raising Giron's profile beyond our borders.
Participation in Stratexio's Mining Industry Consortium
The Giron company has also validated its membership of the Stratexio. Our participation in the Mining Industry Consortium aims to promote a global offering of products and services to the mining industry on an international level. Our ambition: make French industry a global jewel! Indeed, despite a proven expertiseFrance is not yet identified as a major player on the international mining scene. So, thanks to the actions of this consortium, we're going to make our industry shine on the export market.
Fortifying our participation in the SIM show for 2024
The 73rd mining industry trade fair (SIM) will take place from October 2 to 4, 2024 in Dijon. As usual, Giron will be on hand to welcome all customers this year on the theme of stand i27. And to celebrate our 100th anniversary, in 2024 we'll be expanding our exhibition space from 18 to 36 m²! Once again, this congress will be an opportunity to get to know each other and to meet our partners over a friendly drink. We hope to see many of you there, and we look forward to seeing you there! a few surprises...
Summer shutdown and service continuity
This summer workshop closure for machine maintenance will be August 12 to 18 (week 33). Only the workshops will be at a standstill. sales department will remain at your service. We'll be on hand to answer your questions all summer long!
