These sheets are made from solid sheet metal. The holes (meshes) are then produced by material removal processes such as perforation, punching, flame cutting, laser cutting, plasma cutting or waterjet cutting.
They can be fitted with tensioning hooks or holes for bolting to frames. They can be supplied flat or pre-galvanized, but can also be bent in several sectors to create cylindrical ferrules for fitting to trommels.
Grades R 250, CR 321 and CR 4000 are abrasion-resistant steels regularly used. Steel grades (mild, abrasion-resistant, stainless), thicknesses and hole shapes can be varied according to application.
GIRON offers a wide range of mesh sizes (W) to meet the needs of its customers.
Standard range: (for other dimensions, please consult us)
- Mesh size: 5 mm ≤ W ≤ 130 mm
- Thickness: 2 mm ≤ e ≤ 15 mm
- Hole:Square, rectangular, round, hexagonal solutions
