Under the effect of product abrasion, the cloth tends to flatten.
Abrasion is a phenomenon that occurs when particles (e.g. granules) move and/or remove material under the action of a fixed surface (cloth). Part of the harder surface scratches the softer surface.
In screening, the particles (aggregates) rotate in relation to the working surface (the screen cloth), depending on their geometry (crushed, rolled), their mechanical properties, the stress conditions (inclination, amplitude, speed, etc. of the screen) and the properties of the interfaces (dry/water screening, type and nature of the screen cloths used: steel, polyurethane, rubber, etc.).
In order to maximise the use of screening cloths, GIRON offers its customers various solutions depending on their needs and the problems to be solved:
- High-strength steel cloths with flat flat surface
- High-strength steel cloths Anti-clogging
- Cloths made from synthetic abrasion-resistant : polyurethane, rubber, etc.
